We are very proud of the project&#8217;s accomplishments as so many people benefited from the different activities, while learning about local heritage and being creative through the medium of Welsh. <\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a summary of the report, unfortunately the report is only available in Welsh, but if you want us to talk you through it &#8211; please contact us on 01492 642 357 or post@miconwy.cymru. <\/p>\n<p>One aspect of the project was <strong>Telyn Llanrwst<\/strong>, lead by harpist Elin Angharad Davies. One of the highlights was Diwrnod Dathlu&#8217;r Delyn where over 250 benefited from the event &#8211; it was lovely to welcome people of all ages from all over Wales to celebrate with us through a series of activities. Another part of the project was the triple harp workshops, where Elin visited the rural schools of Conwy to present the triple harps history to a total of 512 children!<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Diwrnod Dathlu&#039;r Delyn \/ A day to celebrate the Harp\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/eFPDeMwbzgk?start=26&#038;feature=oembed\"  allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The young people were also very busy preparing and performing in the <strong>Caerdroia Labyrinth<\/strong> at Gwydir Forest. A big thank you to Theatr Dan y Coed, Fiona Collins and Mair Tomos Ifans for their hard work with the 54 children.<\/p>\n<p>Another element to spark creativity amongst local children was the <strong>animated film<\/strong> they produced alongside cwmni Sbectol cyf. Watch <strong>Llanrwst yn Llosgi<\/strong> below.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Ffilm Animeiddio Hanes Llanrwst yn Llosgi\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hbh8WRKdWV4?start=2&#038;feature=oembed\"  allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Mewn Cymeriad company and Myrddin ap Dafydd were commissioned to create a <strong>one-man show abut Llywelyn Fawr&#8217;s life<\/strong>. It&#8217;s been very popular with the hundreds that have been in the audiences. We also staged the show on our stall at the National Eisteddfod in Conwy 2019. <\/p>\n<p>Without a doubt, one of the highlights was the <strong>Day to Celebrate Llanrwst Heritage<\/strong> in May last year, where over 350 people came to the Ysgol Bro Gwydir field to enjoy various activities that would have been going on in the town hundreds of years ago.
