Caerdroia

As part of the Celebrate Llanrwst’s Heritage Project, pupils from both Ysgol Dyffryn Conwy and Ysgol Bro Gwydir have been very busy, creating and practicing their interpretation of local history and stories. They performed at the Caerdroia at Gwydir Forrest on the 11th of April.

This part of the project was funded by the Lottery’s Heritage Fund, and the children were led and taught by Mair Tomos Ifans, Fiona Collins and Theatr Dan y Coed. They practiced for weeks before the big day, and their performance at the Caerdroia did not disappoint. Here are some snaps from the day – look out for the video that will be available shortly.
